Can improve nutrient absorption, metabolism and increase longevity
The body's ability to absorb nutrients may be enhanced by pollen, according to some evidence. For instance, when pollen was given to the diet of iron-deficient mice, they absorbed 66% more iron. This growth is probably brought on by pollen containing bioflavonoids and vitamin C, which boost iron absorption. Furthermore, mice fed pollen who were in good health received more calcium and phosphorus from their food. High-quality proteins and amino acids present in pollen can facilitate that absorption.
Pollen has been shown to enhance muscular growth, speed up metabolism, and extend life in other animal trials. Although promising in animal research, it's unclear whether this effect also applies to people. To better understand this effect, more research is required.
