Charlie Brown is the main character of the Peanuts comic series, also one of the most popular cartoon characters, published in daily and Sunday newspapers in many countries around the world. Described as a "lovable loser", Charlie Brown is one of the great American archetypes and a popular and widely recognized cartoon character. Charlie Brown is characterized as a person who is constantly suffering, and is therefore often stressed and lacking in self-confidence. He exhibits both pessimism and optimism: on some days he is afraid to even go out because his day might just be spoiled, but for others he is hopeful.
