Chase Distillery
William Chase, the same person who established Tyrrells Crisps, founded the Chase Distillery in 2008. The Herefordshire distillery is situated on a farm where they cultivate their own apples and potatoes to make vodka. At the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2010, Chase Vodka was crowned the best vodka in the world.
A high-end vodka made from potatoes called Chase is produced using unique potato cultivars including King Edward and Lady Claire. The ancient copper pot still and the highest rectification column in Europe, measuring 70 feet in height, are used to distill it 119 times.
Smooth vodka with a naturally sweet and creamy flavor is how Chase Vodka is described. Depending on the ingredients, different flavors and fragrances can be found in the flavored vodkas. For instance, Chase English Oak Smoked Vodka has a smokey and woody taste, Chase Rhubarb Vodka has a tart and fruity taste, and Chase Marmalade Vodka has a citrusy and zesty taste.
Chase Vodka can be sipped plain, over ice, or combined with other beverages. Chase Original Vodka with tonic water and lime, Chase English Oak Smoked Vodka with cola and lemon, and Chase Rhubarb Vodka with apple juice and ginger are a few of the suggested combinations.
Depending on the product and the merchant, Chase Vodka's pricing range fluctuates. However, the cost generally decreases to around £40.
