Tayport Distillery
A family-run distillery in Scotland, Tayport Distillery uses locally grown grains, fruits, and botanicals to create award-winning spirits. Kecia McDougall established the distillery in 2017 with the goal of producing a superior Scottish spirit from grain to glass.
The finest malt barley cultivated in Scotland is used to make vodka, one of the goods offered by Tayport Distillery. Malt Barley Vodka and Madagascan Vanilla Vodka are the two types of vodka produced by the distillery.
The vodkas from the Tayport Distillery have a unique flavor that may be appreciated on its own or when combined with other ingredients. The aromas of honey, cereal, and citrus in the Malt Barley Vodka contrast with the notes of vanilla, caramel, and spice in the Madagascan Vanilla Vodka.
Various dishes and beverages can be coupled with the vodkas depending on the situation and personal choice. The Madagascan Vanilla Vodka, for instance, pairs well with coffee, ice cream, and fruit, while the Malt Barley Vodka goes well with fish, cheese, and chocolate.
A 50cl bottle of vodka from Tayport Distillery costs between £25 and £30. The distillery's website or specific stores in Scotland and the UK both offer the vodkas for purchase online. The vodkas are also offered in various bars and eateries that promote regional and artisanal goods.
