Chef Rob Gourmet Café in Hopkins is one of the premier seafood and eating establishments in Hopkins and the surrounding area. This restaurant at Hopkins Village's Parrot Cove Lodge is one of Belize's few fine dining establishments. Chef Rob, a native of the Netherlands, worked in restaurants in Switzerland, Australia, and London before settling in the Caribbean and Belize in 1999.

Chef Rob's locally sourced four-course or a la carte menu changes frequently, depending on what he can get his hands on. Beef carpaccio, fresh fish cooked with ginger, coconut, and lemongrass, and hibiscus marinated pork tenderloin with cranberry and balsamic sauce are some of his dishes, which are inspired by Maya, Garifuna, and Asian cuisines. Reservations are required at this restaurant, which is one of the few in Belize. This is one of the best Belize restaurants that you should try once in your life.
