Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA)
The beverage bottling activities of SABMiller plc, The Coca-Cola Company, and Gutsche Family Investments in Southern and East Africa were combined to establish Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in 2016. Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the eighth-largest Coca-Cola bottler in the world by revenue and bottles and distributes beverages that bear the trademarks of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) or TCCC's connected organizations. In its operations in Africa, which span more than 42 bottling facilities in 15 nations, CCBA employs approximately 17 000 people.
CCBA, which boasts a varied pan-African footprint serving over 600 000 outlets and a combined population of over 350 million people across the continent, accounts for nearly 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes sold in Africa. South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Namibia, Ghana, Mayotte, the Comoros, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini, Malawi, and Lesotho are the markets that it operates in within sub-Saharan Africa.
In the value chain, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is concentrated on rapid growth and social development. By reducing the environmental effect, it responsibly produces and markets its products. CCBA is delighted to lead the industry in finding more environmentally friendly ways to produce, distribute, and market its goods. Its goal is to increase opportunities for business and the communities it serves to work together across the value chain.
