Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival

Every June, the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival takes place on the waters of False Creek. It is the largest dragon boat festival in North America, organized by the Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society. It is a competition as well as a celebration of community and culture. Boat racing, headliner music shows, cultural installations, interactive performances, local artisans, food, and family-friendly activities await festivalgoers.

The continent's largest dragon boat festival will feature much-anticipated international dragon boat races on False Creek, as well as cultural programming at Concord Pacific Place and Creekside Park, including the 102.7 THE PEAK Main Stage. The public festival programming runs from June 25 to June 26, with racer-only events on June 24. In addition, this year's festival will include a significant new addition to its programming, thanks to the support of Concord Pacific and the Province of British Columbia. On Thursday, June 9, an official press conference will be held at Concord Pacific Place to announce the addition.
