Copacabana Beach
The most famous beach in Brazil - Copacabana Beach is located in the center of Rio de Janeiro. This isn't the place to go if you're seeking for a peaceful, isolated escape where you can relax and enjoy the smooth sands on your own. This beach is popular among South American models and actresses for people watching, water activities such as surfing, and entertainment.
There are several cafés, restaurants, hotels, and even two old forts, one of which contains a military museum, along the boardwalk. Some of the nicest hotel room views are right here, facing the green sea, if you can afford the price tag.
Copacabana is a crescent-shaped beach with a length of slightly over four kilometers that is always crowded. This beach is suitable for both adults and children. During New Year's Eve celebrations, tens of thousands of people gather on the beach to see the clock strike midnight.
