Jericoacoara Beach

To avoid pronouncing a big name, residents refer to this beach as "Jerry." This is a beautiful spot where visitors often remain longer than expected. When you visit Jerry, you are transported to a world far removed from the frantic pace of modern life, complete with automobile sirens and traffic congestion. There is no tension, pressure, or hassle here; everything happens gently and with pleasure. Only the ocean and leisure!

Jericoacoara Beach is stunning, with a vast gray beach and a golden dune surrounding it, as well as snow-white sandy sections and even a rocky shoreline. The winds are consistent and strong from July to December, making it ideal for kite surfers and surfers. The ocean in this location is choppy, with high waves but shallow water, so swimming is unlikely to be enjoyable, but couples with children will feel safe and secure. There aren't many people on Jerry most of the time, and those that are there are primarily tourists who prefer active recreation.
