Costa Maya Festival

The Costa Maya Festival has become one of Belize's most important and anticipated cultural events. It takes place every year in August in the town of San Pedro. This three-day festival features live music and entertainment, cultural performances by the region's finest talents, traditional and fusion foods and sweets, games, and the acclaimed Miss Costa Maya International contest.

Seafood cookouts, mechanical rides, games, football marathons, parades, and foreign musical performances are all part of the weekend's festivities. There is a cultural event called "Noche International," which has some of the best Latino bands on stage. Other cultural performances, including music and entertainment, cuisine and dances from participating countries regularly end the Costa Maya Festival.
