Cyrus and Reese (Animal Crossing)

Nintendo's Animal Crossing video game series is a social simulation video game series. Katsuya Eguchi and Hisashi Nogami developed and created the series. The player character in Animal Crossing is a person who lives in a community inhabited by various anthropomorphic animals and may engage in hobbies such as fishing, bug capturing, and fossil seeking. The series is renowned for its open-ended gameplay and use of the internal clock and calendar of the video game console to mimic the passage of time. Every Animal Crossing game adds new non-playable characters to the stores, and New Leaf for the 3DS was no exception.

Cyrus and Reese are a married alpaca couple in charge of the Re-Tail stores, with Cyrus focusing on furniture and Reese on everyday things. Cyrus and Reese's love and marriage are important components of their characters. They adore one other so deeply that they advise the player, depending on gender, not to engage in any inappropriate amorous behavior. The alpaca pair is also prominent in the New Horizons Wedding Season event, in which the player shoots photos commemorating their wedding and adds joy to the finest game in the Animal Crossing series.
