Dilbar

Dilbar is a superyacht that was launched on November 14, 2015, at the Lürssen shipyard in Germany, and delivered in 2016. Project Omar was the name given to the construction. Andrew Winch designed the inside of Dilbar, while Espen Oeino designed the outside.

Alisher Usmanov, a Russian billionaire and oligarch, owns the yacht. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, German authorities seized the boat in March 2022 as part of a series of penalties against Russian oligarchs. It is said to have cost $800 million, employed 84 full-time staff members, and boasted the world's largest indoor swimming pool, measuring 180 cubic meters. Usmanov had previously owned a smaller yacht called Dilbar.

The ship's true legal ownership has been concealed. Gulbahor Ismailova was identified as the owner after investigations by the German Federal Criminal Police Agency (BKA) and the tax investigation office. The new discoveries were sent to the German Foreign Office by the BKA. The yacht was seized by German authorities.
