Drink plenty of water
Your overall health depends on staying hydrated, but your eyes and skin in particular benefit from it. Water, in the form of tears, is what the eyes rely on to help keep them lubricated. To keep the eyes moist; get rid of bacteria, dust and other particles that enter the eyes, lubrication is essential.
The body lacks the necessary water to stay hydrated when it is dehydrated. The eye will usually get dry. They could become scratchy and itchy. When you blink, you could feel like there is something in your eye because it is scratching. Other related eye symptoms of dehydration could include red eyes, blurred vision, burning sensation in the eyes, etc. To make sure your body has enough moisture to keep your eyes lubricated and hydrated, try to drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water daily. If the weather is warmer than usual and you are exercising, you may need to drink more water.
