English Harbour

English Harbour is a natural harbor and settlement on the Caribbean island of Antigua, located in the island's extreme south. English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour are two nearby sheltered deepwater harbors. This coastal town is best known for Nelson's Dockyard, a former British Navy base that displays restored 18th and 19th-century buildings and other historical artifacts from the dockyard's colonial period, particularly during Horatio Nelson's command.

Furthermore, English Harbour in southern Antigua is a popular tourist destination that offers history, snorkeling, natural rock formations, stunning views, boat tours, and adventure. You can go snorkeling at Galleon Beach and see the vibrant sea life of the Caribbean all around you. Climb up Monk's Hill for panoramic harbor views and Instagram-worthy photo ops, or visit the Pillars of Hercules, a towering natural geological rock formation. Along the harbor, you can see the 18th-century remains of Fort Berkeley. Of course, there are beautiful beaches to visit as well as fantastic Caribbean fusion cuisine at local restaurants. A boat tour of the island is a unique way to see everything there is to see.
