Fête de la Mer

Each year, the association of marine experts Métimer organizes the most famous festival in Sint Maarten - Fête de la Mer. This most famous festival invites the elderly and children to meet on Grand Case beach to help them explore the sea and maritime activities. For two days, marine experts came to present their work and give initiations. The main activities in the program are windsurfing, knee surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling, diving, boat tours, kayaking, windsurfing, and even sailing. Activities on or in the water, supervised by truly qualified professional instructors. On the beach, inflatable games and activities are also available for the little ones.

The Fête de la Mer takes place in June over a weekend in the Grand Case, offering visitors and residents alike to explore all the maritime activities and trades at sea. The interesting thing about the most famous festival in Sint Maarten is that whether it's snorkeling, sailing, kitesurfing, kayaking, or canoeing, kids and adults alike, there's something for all everyone.
