Fisherman's Island

Fisherman's Island the little but delightful 'island' (actually a peninsula) is a great place for a Danube-side picnic or a leisurely stroll. More restaurants, hotels, and splavovi (river-barge nightclubs) are appearing all the time, but it's still a low-key city retreat for those in the know for the time being.

When the tide is very low, you can cross to the Fisherman's Island from the western end of the trand; otherwise, take a taxi (about 300RSD) from the center.
