Five Sisters Falls
Five Sisters Falls, which is close to the town of Sarawina in central Belize, is a well-liked destination for tourists going to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. The waterfall, which features two alluring natural swimming pools—one at the top and one at the bottom—and a gently sloping rock wall, is made up of five distinct streams, hence the name Five Sisters. Five Sisters Falls is a terrific location to discover some inner peace because of the surrounding dense pine forest and the stunning Maya Mountains in Belize.
The sparkling, clear water of the river, the shimmering spray of the falls, and the contrasting green of the forest are accentuated by a wild display of colorful flowers of over four hundred and fifty species of orchids, palmettos, and other exotic plants. The continuous flowering of these plants throughout the year produces nature's own kaleidoscope of brilliant colors and the crisp air is always heavy with a fragrant, exciting aroma.
The dazzling falls and alluringly pure pools at Five Sisters are famous for being surrounded by a lush green forest. After a challenging day of hacking your way through the jungle, the falls are close to housing and dining options if you'd like to spend the evening in comfort. From the park office and lodge, it's simple to go to the falls and viewing places.
