Fred Couples
Frederick Steven Couples (born October 3, 1959) is a professional golfer from the United States who has participated on the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions. He won 64 professional events during his career, including the Masters Tournament in 1992 and the Players Championship in 1984 and 1996.
He won his first senior major, the Senior Players Championship, in August 2011, and followed it up with the Senior Open Championship in July 2012. In 2013, he was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame. Couples earned the moniker "Boom Boom" during his prime because of his long, precise driving ability off the tee.
