He is largely regarded as one of golf's best players of all time and he is in the list of the richest golfers in the world. In his professional career, he won 117 events. He set a record by winning 18 major titles in a quarter-century, three more than second-placed Tiger Woods. He played in 164 major events, the most of any golfer, and ended third on the PGA Tour with 73 victories, behind Sam Snead and Tiger Woods.
With 115 professional victories and 18 major titles, Jack Nicklaus is widely regarded as the best golfer of all time, which may explain why he's worth 320 million dollars. In 1961, he went pro.
