Funky Gourmet
In November 2009, the Funky Gourmet Restaurant opened its doors. In 2012, the restaurant received its first Michelin star, which it kept for the next two years. Funky Gourmet was awarded a second Michelin star in 2014.
We provide carefully planned degustation menus inspired by distinctive local ingredients and seasonality in the warm and relaxed ambience of our restaurant. We hope to offer our guests to our unique perspective on outstanding Greek cuisine.
In the heart of Athens, near Keramikos, the Funky Gourmet restaurant is housed in a neoclassical edifice. On the first floor, the main dining space may seat up to 30 people. On the ground floor, there is an additional eating area that can seat up to 14 people.
Perci Red, one of the world's top ten coffees, is the current favorite! Ninety Plus in Panama produces the Gesha varietal, which is prepared tableside for the guests using the Chemex technology, a speciality filtering coffee process. This coffee is roasted specifically for the owners to match their needs. The beans are lightly roasted, resulting in a coffee that is deep red in color rather than the normal black.
The ideal "cup of coffee" to end a Funky Gourmet culinary adventure!
