Gramoz
Gramoz Mountain is one of the three highest mountains in Albania at about 8277 ft (2523 m) and is located in the southeastern part of the country, in the border of Albania with Greece. From here, the important rivers of Devoll and Osum start. In its radius, you will find the forests of Germenj -Shelegur, which flow like an oasis of calm and peace. Besides, Gramoz mountain tea is known for its health values.
The Gramoz is very sparsely populated, the only sizable town being Ersekë at its western foot. Other villages in the mountains are Gramoz , Aetomilitsa , Starje and Plikati inhabited by Albanians, Aromanians, and Greeks. The brown bear live in the region. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you should consider spending a few hours here surrounded by nature and admiring the gorgeous mountain views.
