    Korab

    The Korab Mountains is the highest moutain in Albania, located in the eastern corner of Albania. It provide a unique opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the Albanian wilderness. Korab is Albania's highest peak and is likely the most popular name for male babies in northern Albania. Everyone wants their child to be number one, right? Such is Korab. It is also one of the tallest mountains in Southeast Europe, stretching between Albania and North Macedonia.


    The peak is a very rugged mountain massif and consists mainly of shale and limestone of the Paleozoic period with block structures, as well as severely damaged gypsum rocks of Permo Triassic. It is situated on the border between the districts of Shkodra and Tropoja (between the upper course of the Valbona River in the east and the Thethi valley in the west). Meanwhile, it also holds a record, it is the highest peak of the Albanian Alps with a height of 8838 ft (2694 meters) and the second-highest peak in Albania after Korab.     Gramoz

    Gramoz Mountain is one of the three highest mountains in Albania at about 8277 ft (2523 m) and is located in the southeastern part of the country, in the border of Albania with Greece. From here, the important rivers of Devoll and Osum start. In its radius, you will find the forests of Germenj -Shelegur, which flow like an oasis of calm and peace.   4. Gjallica mountain (Gjallica e Lumës) is an outstanding mountain located in the North-east of Albania, in the region of Kukës, and it is the highest mountain in there. The highest peak of this mountain is called the Gjallica peak, and its elevation is 8166ft (2,489 m). Mountaineering in the Gjallica Mountains is a wonder that envelops you in the peculiar beauty of mountain nature.     Tomorr

    Tomorr Mountain lies northeast of the town of Corovoda (Çorovoda), at a distance of about 15-18 miles (20-25 km), and enjoys the status of a National Park. There is also the highest point 7923 ft (2415.7 m) above sea level which is known as ‘Cuka Partizane’. This park is stunning in all four seasons, but especially in the icy winter. The mountain's western flank is the most forested. To get to Tomorr Mountain, you can use one of two roads: the short road Pronovik -Tomorr Mountain with a length of 7 miles (10 km), and the other road is Corovodë-Gjerbes-Tomorr Mountain with a length of 20 miles (25 km).


    One of Albania's largest water-collecting locations is Mount Tomorr. Tomorr is part of the Tomorr National Park, which is famous for its numerous deciduous and coniferous tree species as well as a diversified flora. Many endangered animals, such as bears (Ursus arctos), wolves (Canis lupus), and birds of prey, are free to roam and reside in this area. At an altitude of 3937 ft (1,200 m) above sea level, is the Tomb of Abaz Ali, which is considered a sacred and worshiped place.

This mountain is a tourist area in the country's southeast that has emerged this summer as a still-undiscovered tourist destination, where the rivers Maliqi, Pogradec, and Gramshi meet at a single point. Valamara peak is located in south-central Albania, near the city of Gramsh, and is part of the Central Mountain range. It is one of the most prominent mountains in Albania and Europe.

  7. Shebenik Mountain is the highest mountain in the Shebenik-Jabllanice National Park on the road Librazhd -Qarrishte. It is located at an elevation of 7391 feet (2,253 meters) and contains fourteen glacial lakes and three artificial lakes. The peak of Shebenik is the crown jewel of the Shebenik-Jabllanic National Park in eastern Albania.
