Korab
The Korab Mountains is the highest moutain in Albania, located in the eastern corner of Albania. It provide a unique opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the Albanian wilderness. Korab is Albania's highest peak and is likely the most popular name for male babies in northern Albania. Everyone wants their child to be number one, right? Such is Korab. It is also one of the tallest mountains in Southeast Europe, stretching between Albania and North Macedonia.
The peak is a very rugged mountain massif and consists mainly of shale and limestone of the Paleozoic period with block structures, as well as severely damaged gypsum rocks of Permo Triassic. The place of rare natural beauty, with rocks, rocks, and endless pastures, that is visited by many climbers who manage to reach its peak, which stands at 9068 feet (2764 meters). Korab has several high peaks in addition to its highest, which are known as Korab II, Korab III, and Shulani I Radomires. You cannot call yourself an alpinist unless you have climbed this mountain.
