Grawa Waterfall
The Grawa Waterfall is close to the well-liked rest area known as the Grawa Mountain Hut. The waterfall is visible from the alpine pasture, which is located beneath Glacier Road. You may best view the roaring and thundering of the Sulzbach stream from the lower panoramic platform, which is only a 15-minute stroll away.
Its streams cascade down into depths of about 100 meters. This waterfall, which is also among the most stunning in Austria and one of the widest in the East Alps, was formally recognized as a natural monument in 1979.
Although slightly more difficult, the path leading to the higher platform offers a beautiful perspective. The Grawa Waterfall is incorporated into the Stubai WildWaterPark and the WildWaterTrail with the intention of bringing visitors closer to the valley's most picturesque water features. Winter visitors to the waterfall are primarily ice climbers, though there are also plenty of people there to witness the ice acrobats.
Those who decide to visit this wonderful location may also stop at Stubaier WildeWasserPark. Such a route is intended for individuals who enjoy the water and want to see the impressive waterfalls, springs, and number of lakes in the valley. For those who desire to connect with nature while admiring wonderful things that man will never be able to duplicate, this is the ideal location.
