One of Poland's biggest breweries and makers of beer is Grupa Zywiec. The brewery in the town of Ywiec, established in 1856, produces 5.6% alcohol-by-volume pale lager. Five major breweries make up Grupa Ywiec S.A.: Ywiec Brewery, Elbrewery, Leajsk, Warka Brewery, and Browar Namysów. With a 65% stake, the Dutch Heineken Group (Heineken International Beheer B.V.) currently controls its key businesses. Harbin B.V. owns 35% of the company. The brewery is the largest in Grupa Ywiec and has a production capacity of 5 million liters annually.
