Royal Unibrew
The brewing and beverage firm Royal Unibrew is based in Faxe, Denmark. Ceres, Faxe, Albani, Thor, Karlens, and Royal are some of its brands. Moreover, Royal Unibrew is well-known in the Baltic region, where it owns Vilniaus Tauras, Kalnapilis, and Lpla Alus (all of which are in Lithuania) and Lpla Alus (in Latvia). As of 2018, it is the owner of the French brewery that makes the Lorina soft drink line. Moreover, it produces and sells Heineken in Denmark.
Breweries Faxe, Ceres, and Thor merged to form Bryggerigruppen, which was the name given to the new business in 1989. Albani of Odense merged with the business in 2000. The business changed its name to Royal Unibrew in 2005.
