Olvi plc, a brewery and soft drink firm, was established in Finland in 1878. It is currently the largest Finnish-owned company in its industry, with 18.7% of the beverage market in Finland. Its subsidiaries include Volfas Engelman, Lithuania's third-largest beverage firm, and A. Le Coq, Estonia's second-largest beverage company.
Olvi also operates companies in Belarus (Lidskae Piv) and Latvia (Csu Alus). Olvi acquired a controlling interest in A/S Bryggeriet Vestfyen, the fourth-largest brewery in Denmark, in May 2021. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine on March 5, 2022, Olvi declared that the company was halting exports to Russia and leaving Belarus.
