Heineken

Heineken N.V. is a Dutch global brewing corporation founded in 1864 by Gerard Adriaan Heineken in Amsterdam. As of 2019, Heineken owns over 165 breweries in more than 70 countries. It produces 348 international, regional, local, and specialty beers and ciders and employs roughly 85,000 people.

Heineken N.V. produced 24.14 billion liters of beer worldwide in 2019 and earned 23.894 billion euros in total revenue. It is the top brewer in Europe and one of the biggest brewers in the world, measured by volume. Heineken has breweries in the Netherlands in Zoeterwoude, S-Hertogenbosch, and Wijlre. The Heineken Experience museum is housed in the original Amsterdam brewery, which closed in 1988.

Heineken has been the second-largest brewer in the world since the October 2016 merger of the two biggest brewing conglomerates in the world, Anheuser-Busch InBev and SABMiller. With a market cap of $60.59 billion as of March 2023, Heineken becomes the world's 238th most valuable company.
