Halloweentown (1998)

Halloweentown was one of the first Disney films made for the channel, and it was the first of four films in the series; some even believe it's a Disney film that deserves a better sequel. The film, starring Debbie Reynolds, tells the story of a group of kids who discover a secret portal that transports anyone who steps through to Halloweentown – a place where Halloween is celebrated 365 days a year.

Of course, in a universe where Halloween never dies (Michael Myers would have loved it), the kids must battle all manner of Halloween evil. The plotline was a little too thin to be stretched into a series, but the original Halloweentown is widely regarded as one of the best Disney Chanel Original Movies (DCOM) movies ever made and for good reason.
