Hashim Amla

Hashim Mahomed Amla (born March 31, 1983) is a former South African cricketer who represented his country in all three versions of the game. Amla holds the record for scoring 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 ODI runs in the fastest time ever. He also became the first batsman to reach ten ODI century in the fastest time possible. Amla, who was South Africa's Test captain from June 2014 until January 2016, is an occasional off-break bowler.


He has currently scored 8,786 test runs with an average of 49.08 in 113 matches and 7,535 ODI runs with an average of 50.23 in 164 appearances. All of these statistics demonstrate that Hashim Amla, a superb cricketer from South Africa, has been gifted to the globe.
