Help reduce anxiety and stress
In a 2016 animal investigation, researchers discovered that Gotu kola had an anti-anxiety impact on male mice that had been sleeping deprived for 72 hours. Anxiety, oxidative damage, and neuroinflammation can all be caused by a lack of sleep. Mice that were administered Gotu kola for five days prior to sleep deprivation showed much reduced anxiety-like behavior. They also had better locomotor activity and reduced oxidative damage.
According to a 2013 study of anti-anxiety herbal medications, Gotu kola provides an immediate anti-anxiety impact. More study, however, is required to corroborate these findings. Take 500 mg of Gotu kola extract twice a day for up to 14 days at a time to see results. In severe situations of anxiety, you can take up to 2,000 mg per day.
