Top 4 in Top 10 Best 3D Movies on Netflix
Martin Scorsese directed and produced Hugo, a 2011 American adventure drama film adapted for the screen by John Logan. It depicts the story of a youngster who lives alone at the Gare Montparnasse train station in Paris in the 1930s, only to become embroiled in a mystery regarding his late father's automaton and the pioneering filmmaker Georges Méliès, based on Brian Selznick's 2007 book The Invention of Hugo Cabret.
Hugo is Scorsese's first 3D film, which the filmmaker described as "awesome", ""I found 3D to be really interesting because the actors were more upfront emotionally. Their slightest move, their slightest intention is picked up much more precisely.". Hugo was nominated for 11 Academy Awards (including Best Picture) and won five of them: Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Visual Effects.
