Inhaca Island
Inhaca Island, located just kilometers from Maputo, is another of Mozambique's best dive spots. Inhaca Island is a small island off the coast of Maputo on the tropics' outskirts. There are many beautiful beaches, coral reefs, and exotic marine life to be found. This is also a reason why many people come here to snorkel as well as dive. The coral reefs here have remained untouched for decades, resulting in a thriving marine community. Plate coal, moray eels, large schools of kingfish, and barracuda can all be found on pristine beaches. Shark diving and wreck diving are both possible.
That is not all, though. Swimming with dolphins, manta rays, and whale sharks is also an option. In addition, this dive site has good visibility, with visibility of up to 30 meters. The dive spot on Inhaca Island is around 30 meters deep, and the water temperature is between 22 and 27 degrees.
