Tofo and Barra

Tofo and Barra are two places in Mozambique that greet you as soon as you arrive, offering you the opportunity to sample local cuisine and culture. This, combined with the pristine beaches, makes for an unforgettable experience. In other words, Barra and Tofo have idyllic beaches and thrilling diving spots. The area is known for its stunning reefs, which are ideal for scuba diving. One of the best diving spots is the Manta Reef. Its name comes from the three manta ray cleaning stations, and it has some spectacular topography.

Because of the strong currents, only experienced drift divers should dive in Tofo and Barra. Other dive sites include the Praia de Roche and the Salon dive sites, both of which have a lot of cleaner fish and a variety of fish lining up. While you enjoy the spectacle, your wet suit will keep you warm and protect you from hypothermia.
