Nacala Bay
Nacala Bay, in the province of Nampula, is a great dive spot for both novice and experienced divers. The waters here are warm all year, with beautiful coral reefs and a plethora of marine life. There are numerous dive sites to choose from, depending on the diver's experience. However, the Bonito reef dive site, which goes down 32 meters, is suitable for divers at all levels. Angler fish, ribbon eels, and leaf fish, among many others, can be found among the beautiful corals.
If you are a beginner diver, you can dive at the Nemos dive site, which is about 20 meters deep. Advanced divers will enjoy the 50-meter-deep wall. Divers can take in all of the amazing marine sights while descending the thick coral slope. Remember to bring your dive camera when visiting Nacala Bay for some incredible pictures of nudibranchs, triggerfish, frogfish, and the ghost pipefish. If there are any problems, make sure you are well-versed in scuba diving. For example, knowing how to avoid vertigo while scuba diving is always a good idea.
