Jessica Lange
Jessica Phyllis Lange (born April 20, 1949[1]) is an actress from the United States. She is the 13th actress to win the Triple Crown of Acting, having received two Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and five Golden Globe Awards. She is also the second actress to win the Academy Award for Best Actress after receiving the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, the third actress and first performer since 1943 to receive two Oscar nominations in the same year, the fifth actress and ninth performer to win Oscars in both the lead and supporting acting categories, and tied for the sixth most Oscar-nominated actress.
She established herself as one of Hollywood's top stars in the 1980s, earning five of her six lifetimes Oscar nominations from 1982 to 1989. She received the coveted awards for her performances in 1982's "Tootsie" and 1994's "Blue Sky". Since 1996, she has had eight Emmy nominations for her work in television, winning three of them while acting in critically praised blockbuster programs such as "American Horror Story" and "Feud". Lange is also one of the select handful who has won the acting triple crown.
