John Lobb

Since 1866 in London and 1902 in Paris, John Lobb has been making shoes and boots for gentlemen. Currently, the firm continues its bespoke shoemaking history in Paris, as well as infusing key bespoke concepts into the manufacturing of its ever-expanding ready-to-wear assortment of shoes and leather products.

The Hermès Group purchased John Lobb in 1976, causing the most upheaval. The London bespoke workshop, John Lobb Ltd, however, has remained in the family's hands and continues to operate independently from its premises at 9 St James's Street. The bespoke atelier in Paris, the By Request service and ready-to-wear collection, as well as all of the other John Lobb boutiques, are all owned by Hermès.

In 1994, John Lobb opened its Northampton workshop, where the ready-to-wear line is still designed and handcrafted today. All of its shoes uphold John Lobb's timeless traditions of exceptional quality, fine craftsmanship, comfort, durability, and elegance.
