Keio Academy of New York
Keio Academy of New York is a special high school that offers bilingual and bicultural education to students from different backgrounds. It is connected to Keio University, a prestigious university in Japan, and is approved by both Japanese and American education authorities. Established in 1990, Keio Academy of New York is the only overseas branch of a Japanese private school. It is located in Purchase, New York, about 30 miles north of Manhattan. The campus spans 27 acres and has modern facilities, including a library, cafeteria, health center, gymnasium, and two dormitories. The school has around 360 students in grades 9 to 12, most living on campus. The student body is diverse, with students from 30 countries, such as Japan, the United States, China, Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
Keio Academy of New York provides a challenging academic curriculum that follows Japanese national standards and prepares students for college entrance exams in both Japan and the United States. Additionally, elective courses are available in subjects like art, music, drama, computer science, and journalism. The school places importance on bilingualism and biculturalism, requiring students to take courses in both English and Japanese. They also have the opportunity to learn other languages, such as Chinese, French, and Spanish.

Over 40 clubs and activities are offered, covering sports, arts, culture, service, and leadership.
