Ken Kaneki

Ken Kaneki is the main character of the Tokyo Ghoul series. He is currently Touka Kirishima's husband and Ichika Kaneki's father. Previously, he was a Kamii University student in Japanese literature, living a very regular existence. His odd half-ghoul state later influences the Quinx concept.

Kaneki had all of the same characteristics as a child that he currently has as an adult. Kaneki's hair color was acquired through torture and trauma, in contrast to most white-haired characters who were born with it. Ken Kaneki, a half-Ghoul, became one of the most powerful characters in Tokyo Ghoul.

Ken Kaneki was a shy and cautious individual, and Hide was his only close friend. He spent the majority of his time reading books, particularly novels. He was extremely gentle and seemed to be cheerful most of the time. He voluntarily accepted criticism and punishment from others, influenced by his mother and a real example of quietness.

He was an ordinary literature student at Kamii University until his life was turned upside down by Rize. He is the One-Eyed Ghoul, who transplanted his Kagune into Ken. Later, he was captured by Jason, a torture victim who caused severe sorrow to Kaneki, forcing him to lose his mind and memories and turning his hair white.
