Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) is one of Bangladesh's most prestigious public universities, focusing on engineering and technological education and research.

KUET is well-known for providing excellent instructional, research, and development programs in the major engineering disciplines as well as the basic sciences. Its sole goal is to attain excellence in quality education, research, and advancement in order to meet the country's and the South-Western region's current demands and to establish it as a "Center of Excellence." KUET offers engineering instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as post-graduate degrees and research in basic sciences.

Currently, 3222 students are enrolled in KUET's 16 Academic Departments, which are divided into three faculties. For the academic year 2012-2013, a total of 665 top-scoring students from around the country were accepted into undergraduate programs through a highly competitive, transparent, and uniform admissions process. In addition, in its well-nourished atmosphere, quality graduate study and research in M.Sc Engineering, M.Phil, and Ph.D. programs are conducted.

This prominent institute also accepts students from other countries. This institution has over 202 outstanding, scholarly, and diversified faculties teaching in a variety of areas.
