Koroyanitu National Heritage Park

Fiji has so many amazing spots to visit. Lautoka, on the western side of Viti Levu, maybe the second biggest city on Fiji's largest island, but do not stop there; visit Koroyanitu National Heritage Park.

It may be said that the Koroyanitu National Heritage Park is definitely worth it for a person who is a walker or nature lover. There are six villages within the park that cooperate as part of an ecotourism project. They assist with the upkeep of the landscape and tracks.

Climbers who begin their journey from Nase Lodge to the peak of Castle Rock will be rewarded with panoramic vistas of the Mamanucas and Yasawas. A well-marked path runs up the mountain; it takes around four hours (one way). A two-hour trek leads visitors to a waterfall, Tunutunu's terraced gardens, and the Navuratu townsite. The ruins of a walled town are seen during a full-day walk up Mt Koroyanitu.
