This magnificent Hindu temple is not only one of the top locations to see in Fiji, but also one of the few places outside of India where classic Dravidian engineering can be seen.

The Gods' wooden sculptures, as well as the professionals who painted the temple's vibrant coat and magnificent roof frescoes, were imported from India.

At the entry, remove your shoes and dress modestly. Photography is permitted on the grounds but not within the temple. The inner sanctuary is only accessible to devotees who are bringing offerings. The temple's on-site custodian can assist you in making sense of it all.

  4. The Biausevu Waterfall (also known as Savu Na Mate Laya Falls) is a beautiful 20-meter waterfall in Biausevu hamlet on the Coral Coast of southern Viti Levu. A two-tiered waterfall cascades down. Between the stages, it appeared as if the stream had launched itself into a miniature waterwheel before descending. This was one of the more spectacular waterfalls in Fiji because of its accessibility and form.

To get to this waterfall, you may either take a trip offered by other local resorts or rent a private car. It takes 30 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the waterfall. As with other tropical places, water shoes or sandals are recommended.

  8. Located in the heart of Suva’s Thurston Gardens, the Fiji Museum holds a remarkable collection, which includes archaeological material dating back 3,700 years and cultural objects representing both Fiji’s indigenous inhabitants and the other communities that have settled in the island group over the past 200 years.

Local residents presented pieces and collections to the Town Board and artifacts were purchased by the Trustees. These contributed towards a growing collection that filled the Town Hall. The archives, photographic studio, editing suite, library, and administration offices are located in what was the Nawela Hostel for women, adjacent to the main museum building.

The highlight is an enormous Ratu Finau that is Fiji’s last double-hulled kayak famed to be over 13 meters long. Different attractions in the primary lobby incorporate war clubs and a grisly show about human flesh consumption, and so on.

  9. It is the thumping heart of Suva and one of the best places to visit on Fiji island. It is a fantastic area to wander about with a camera for an hour or two.

The young men with barrows claim the paths, and they are not hesitant to cut down a couple of voyagers to convey their cassava on time. Other than the giant-sized cabbages, tomatoes, and chilies, pay special attention to cassava, jackfruits, and yams. Products here are less expensive than the ones in general stores, and there is no compelling reason to bargain as the costs are stamped.

People normally club together Colo-I-Suva Forest Reserve and Handicraft Market while planning their visit to Suva Municipal Market.
