Even though it doesn't appear like much, this French-owned counter restaurant on 14th Street offers some of South Florida's top sandwiches. French bread that is crisp and flaky serves as the sandwich's base. The sandwich makers then add your preferred meat, cheese, or mix of meat and cheese, such as ham, turkey, roast beef, salami, and Swiss cheese, as well as more distinctive, Euro-friendly options like Camembert, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, saucisson sec, and pork/duck liver pâté. Fresh toppings including lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, hot pickled red peppers, black olives, red onion, cucumber, and cornichons are next. A last drizzle of tart French vinaigrette with a Dijon base is added after the garnishes. Voilà! a fantastic sandwich. The restaurant now offers a limited number of reservations and has enlarged its outdoor seating area.
