Red South Beach
Since its debut in 2008, RED South Beach has swiftly established itself as the place where residents of the area gather to celebrate important milestones in life or simply to savor the pleasures of fine food and wine. Chef Peter Vauthy continues to honor traditional recipes and flawless service at his steakhouse, which has been named one of America's Top 10 Steakhouses and Best Steakhouse in Miami. At RED South Beach, Chef Peter has been reinventing the classic steakhouse experience for more than ten years. The menu is a fusion of traditional cuisine with the most seasonal fresh ingredients, and it only uses the best Certified Angus Beef Prime, both on and off the bone. Everything is made from scratch, including the sauces and garnishes. A bar that offers handcrafted signature drinks and an award-winning wine list, a perfect mashup of well-known names and undiscovered gems, complements the meal.
RED just relocated to a new area in an effort to grow and give customers an opportunity to dine outside. RED's new "home" has a 3000 square foot outside terrace and an enormous indoor dining room that will soon be open. The dining area will include RED's iconic wine wall, a private dining room, and a glass-enclosed VIP room once the redesign is finished (expected to be finished late summer 2021). Artwork chosen by Katarina von Ewegen and a custom wall painting made by renowned mosaic artist Daniel Mazzone will enhance the interior's rich colors and textures. The Wine Spector's Award of Excellence has been given to RED SOUTH BEACH 11 times in a row. RED was ranked as Miami's Best Steakhouse by Thrillist. In 2015, RED was ranked as OpenTable's Diners' Choice and included on Zagat's list of the 8 Sexiest Bars and Restaurants in Miami. The City of Miami Beach has honored Chef Peter for his contribution to "helping define the city's food culture and reputation as a major culinary destination."
