Lacto-vegetarian diet
According to the "lacto" prefix, a lacto-vegetarian diet is a plant-based diet that includes dairy products. Dairy products like cow's milk and foods made with it are included in this version. Cheese, butter, sour cream, yogurt, and ice cream are a few examples.
All meats, including beef, pork, chicken, and fish, are prohibited. Eggs are also excluded. A lacto-vegetarian diet can include a variety of different foods, including fruits, veggies, whole grains, healthy fats, dairy products, and protein-rich foods. Similar to the lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet, people may follow a lacto-vegetarian diet for religious or cultural reasons. People who practice Jainism, Hinduism, and Buddhism frequently follow this variation.
