Lappeenranta University of Technology
The Finland's Lappeenranta University of Technology was founded in 1969. The Lappeenranta campus of the university is located on the shores of Lake Saimaa, Europe's fourth-largest lake. Lahti is home to LUT University's second campus. LUT University has been recognized among the top 600 universities in the world since 2014, as well as one of the world's top 20 most promising and fast-developing challenger universities.
The university has approximately 930 employees and 5,200 students. Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, Master of Science, and Licentiate of Science are the degrees awarded by LUT. Doctor of Science, Doctor of Science, Doctor of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy are all scientific degrees.
LUT University offers a number of Master's programs that are internationally recognized. In 2012, the EFMD granted EPAS accreditation to a master's degree program in International Marketing Management for a five-year period. Programs approved by EUR-ACE and ASIIN Chemical Engineering, Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Industrial Management are all offered at LUT University. LUT University is a state-run and sponsored institution.
