The University of Oulu is one of the best universities in Finland. It is an international science university that uses research and education to develop new knowledge, well-being, and innovations for the future. The University of Oulu, which was established in 1958, is one of Finland's largest and most interdisciplinary universities. The University of Oulu strives for high quality and efficiency in all of its activities. Every year, our academics publish about 3000 scientific papers, and many new research-driven enterprises emerge.

There are eight faculties and numerous specialized research divisions at the institution. The Board, which consists of 12 members, is the University's highest decision-making body. The Board, for example, makes decisions about the University's basic aims, strategy, and economic direction.
