Lemon
Lemon is a type of tree slow-growing, leaves are long, evergreen, glossy, and citron-like, being ovate elliptic in shape and lemon-scented. Today, lemon is also grown for ornamental purposes, it is neatly and beautifully pruned. Besides, lemon is also an ingredient to enhance the flavor of some desserts or is used as a seasoning for fish dishes, fresh foods such as oysters, shrimp, squid... Lemon leaves and lime juice are also popular in folk healing and beauty recipes.
Similar to bananas, lemons are also hybrids of different sizes. In 2003, Aharon Shemoel of Israel grew the heaviest lemon in the world on his farm with a circumference of 29 inches, and 13.7 inches high. It weighed about 11.6 pounds and matured in pairs along with another lemon. Also in 2012, José Antonio Molina of Spain discovered a lemon that weighed 4.4 pounds (two kilos). Thanks to that, lemon is also now recognized as one of the largest fruits in the world.
