Life Of Pi
Life of Pi is first and foremost a work of art. This 2012 adventure drama film directed by Ang Lee and starring Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, and Adil Hussain was based on Yann Martel's novel of the same name. Life of Pi portrays a young guy named Pi Patel on an unexpected survival expedition. Pi grows up in an animal-filled environment since his family runs a zoo, and he develops an attachment to a Bengal tiger called Richard Parker. Pi's father reveals to the family that they would be relocating to Canada with their zoo, and they board a Japanese freight ship.
Following the storm, Pi realizes that he is sharing the lifeboat with a zebra, an orangutan, a spotted hyena, and Richard Parker the tiger, while all other human passengers appear to have perished. Richard Parker kills and eats the hyena after it kills the zebra and orangutan and advances on Pi. After a whale comes too close to the boat and destroys the supplies, the duo floats on and begins fishing for sustenance. Though Pi is apprehensive of Richard Parker, he learns that if he is to survive, he must care for the tiger.
Life of Pi is a highly praised adventure film that has received four Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, and Best Original Score in addition to being a captivating story and a visual masterpiece. Overall, this wonderful picture is really worth seeing.
