The characteristic diamond sparkles lying on the pen cap in the shape of a star characterize the Montblanc brand. These are real diamonds. The Limited Edition Boheme Papillon fountain pens are the most magnificent collectibles in the Montblanc collection. The pens' barrels have been skeletonized to give them a unique look, but that wasn't enough for the designers. The way the stones are positioned to create exquisite butterfly shapes that wrap around the body of the pen in three levels and continue to the mechanism for the internal spring is part of the pen's uniqueness.

Although this isn't the case, Limited Edition Boheme Papillon gives the impression that they are holding the critical components in place. The positioning of the stones is meticulous, with Keatsian plant tendrils cascading over the pen's body as well as over the cap. The blueprints for the wonderful design architecture were clearly created with a great deal of thinking and forethought.
